Ancient Stars is a carefully designed 3v3 competitive experience, blending 2.5D combat (featuring 2D hand-drawn heroes and 3D battle arenas) that captures the arcade brawler excitement and strategic depth of a classic MOBA. It's easy to learn, fast-paced, deeply tactical, and incredibly enjoyable! Matches last around 10 minutes. The gameplay centers on a side-scrolling lane-pushing map where victory is achieved by destroying the enemy's base.
Ancient Stars currently offers 22 distinct heroes and 9 diverse character skins, each with a unique style. Every hero comes with custom voice-overs, delivering an immersive experience that celebrates a wide range of global inspirations.
To bring its vibrant heroes and animations to life in a 2D hand-drawn aesthetic, we enlisted the art director from Ironhide Studio to lead the visual design for Ancient Stars. That's right, the same creative mastermind behind Kingdom Rush and Iron Marines. Every hero's design and skill effect has been painstakingly crafted and polished! The sound effects, background music, and other audio elements are also composed by a talented Uruguayan composer, guaranteeing that signature artistic flair.
