ArtClash - Paint Draw & Sketch

Paint, sketch, and share your creations with others. This is an early access, work-in-progress release with more features coming soon.

We are ArtClash.

ArtClash was created to help people develop a daily drawing, sketching, and cartooning habit.

This is a work in progress; the first game is complete, but more updates are on the way.

You can draw freely or select topics and optional constraints—like time limits, color restrictions, or canvas size—then earn points when others correctly guess your drawing.

This is a solo project, built for my wife and me to practice daily and inspire others to do the same.

Current features:

• Paint - Sketch, Paint, and Blend colors

• Import images to use as references or paint over them

• Pick topics and constraints, create your drawing, and earn points for correct guesses

• 6 difficulty levels, from single words to combinations of up to 5 nouns, verbs, places, or time periods

• Choose from 3 optional constraints for bonus points: time limit, color limit, or canvas size

• Freely draw anything you like and share it with the community

• NSFW flag to control visibility of mature content

Known issues in early access:

• Basic UI: The Unity-based interface is being redesigned in XAML for better responsiveness

• On lower-end devices, keep canvas sizes under 1024x1024 for optimal performance. The GPU-accelerated brush engine may slow down with large canvases and small brushes. Performance improvements are under evaluation.

Upcoming features:

• More games (starting with drawing "telephone")

• Enhanced social features (custom avatars, comments, friend lists, and follower systems)

• Improved UI and a faster brush engine

• Marquee selection and transform tools

• More brush options, plus support for user-created and shared brushes

• Advanced layer controls (transparency locking, masking, and more)

• Developer feedback system for feature requests, bug reports, and community voting

• Moderator roles for community management and content flagging

• User-submitted topics and constraints (moderated before inclusion)

• Long-term goals include full image editing, animation, scripting, and game/storyboard prototyping.

Due to current performance limits with large textures and ongoing feature development, ArtClash focuses on social competition and encouragement rather than serving as a full image editing suite at this time.
