CPU-Z: Your Android Device's Information Hub
CPU-Z, a popular PC CPU identification tool, now offers a free Android app to provide detailed information about your device's hardware and software. This handy utility gives you quick access to key specifications.
Key Features:
- SoC Details: View your System on a Chip (SoC) name, architecture, and clock speed for each core.
- System Overview: Access information about your device's brand and model, screen resolution, RAM, and storage capacity.
- Battery Information: Check your battery level, status, temperature, and capacity.
- Sensor Data: See a list of your device's sensors.
System Requirements:
- Android 2.2 or higher (version 1.03 and above)
Permissions:
- INTERNET: Required for online validation (see below for details).
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used for collecting usage statistics.
Online Validation (version 1.04 and above):
This feature allows CPU-Z to store your device's hardware specifications in a database. Upon validation, a URL will open in your browser. Optionally, you can provide your email address to receive a reminder link.
Settings and Debugging (version 1.03 and above):
If CPU-Z unexpectedly closes, the settings screen will appear on the next launch. You can use this screen to disable certain detection features to ensure the app runs smoothly.
