🧩 1. Recruit Your First Monster: Vexil the Ash Wraith
- Type: Shadow-class Demon
- Skills:
- Soulrend: Deals damage based on enemy's current HP.
- Phantom Ward: Grants immunity to status ailments for 1 turn.
- Personality: Cynical, poetic, haunted by memories of a past life as a human general.

- Unlock his skill “Ashen Oath” — grants +40% damage to all enemies afflicted with Bleed or Weakness.

- Objective: Defeat the Crimson Maw, a beast that feeds on emotions.
- Reward:
- 200 EXP
- 1 Soulbound Core (used to bind skills permanently)
- Unlock “Chain Sacrifice” — sacrifice 2 monsters at once to combine their skills.

⚔️ 3. The Skill System: How to Build Your Army
Every monster has a Skill Tree made of 3 core layers:
- Base Skill (Innate): Unique to the monster. Cannot be changed.
- Talent Skill (Learned): Gained via experience or artifact buffs.
- Legacy Skill (Sacrifice-Granted): Unlock by sacrificing monsters. These are rare, powerful, and sometimes unstable.
Example:
Sacrifice Vexil the Ash Wraith and Kryssa the Flameborn (a fiery phoenix) to unlock:
“Eclipse Maw” – A forbidden legacy skill.
- Summons a temporary dark star that explodes after 3 turns, dealing true damage equal to 200% of enemy’s max HP.
