"Into a Hearth Yonder Launches on PC"

by Connor May 13,2025

Sway State Games has unveiled their latest project, "Into a Hearth Yonder," a delightful new cozy creature-collecting MMO-lite with a vibrant and colorful art style, set to launch on PC next year. Dive into the enchanting world of Viteria, where you can embark on adventures either solo or with friends, accompanied by your charming automata companions. These little creatures not only add to the game's charm but also enhance your gameplay by boosting activities such as combat, farming, fishing, mining, and crafting. "We thought it would be fun to embody player stats and skills as cute, Tamagotchi-like automata," explains Chris O'Kelly, the studio head at Sway State. "You take joy in collecting and caring for them, and in return, they enhance your exploration of Viteria, improve your quality of life, and empower you to lean fully into your favorite playstyle."

"We aimed to lay out a cozy table of adventure, to explore at your own pace, with plenty of building, crafting, exploration, and magic," O'Kelly further elaborates. "Think of 'survival' but with less struggle - just a worry-free deceleration, really." The development team behind "Into a Hearth Yonder" boasts an impressive resume, having contributed to renowned titles such as Divinity: Original Sin, Dying Light 2, Harold Halibut, and Horizon: Call of the Mountain. If this sounds like your kind of adventure, be sure to wishlist "Into a Hearth Yonder" on Steam to stay updated on its progress.
