Amazon Slashes the Price on the New Apple iPad Pro Tablet with OLED and M4 Chip

by Audrey Apr 01,2025

The much-anticipated Black Friday deal is back for 2025, and Amazon has slashed the prices on the latest Apple iPad Pro models. The 11-inch model is now available starting at $849, reflecting a $150 discount, while the 13-inch model starts at $1099, a $200 reduction. These prices are the lowest we've seen since the Black Friday sales of the previous year. Launched on May 15, 2024, the new iPad Pro features significant enhancements, including the powerful M4 chip and a stunning tandem OLED display.

In our comprehensive 2024 iPad Pro M4 review, Jacqueline Thomas praised the device, stating, "For creative professionals, the 2024 iPad Pro is the most powerful tablet on the market and is going to shine if your work revolves around a touchscreen. For the rest of us, though, the iPad Pro is simply the most beautiful display you'll find in a tablet, with hardware that's powerful enough to be a top-end device for years to come."

The 2024 iPad Pro stands out as the best tablet available, regardless of the operating system, thanks to its new M4 processor. This chip not only boosts performance by about 20% compared to the previous M2 model but also enhances power efficiency. However, the most groundbreaking feature of the iPad Pro is its tandem OLED panel, a first for Apple products. Tandem OLED offers superior brightness and is less susceptible to burn-in compared to traditional OLED. While this technology isn't yet cost-effective for larger screens like TVs, it's perfect for the smaller 11-inch display of the iPad Pro, justifying its higher price point within Apple's 2024 lineup.
