Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is now available for iOS and Android devices! This exciting release features a free-to-play experience focused on the single-player island. For players wanting the full experience, the Ark Subscription Pass unlocks all expansions (also purchasable individually), plus additional benefits.
Following our earlier speculation, official confirmation has arrived—Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is launching today! A new trailer and further details have also been released.
While I won't rehash what Ark is all about (refer to my previous article for that), I can confirm its availability on Google Play, the iOS App Store, and the Epic Games Mobile Store, expanding accessibility even further.
The core Ark experience is free. Expansions can be purchased individually, or you can opt for the Ark Pass Subscription ($4.99/month or $49.99/year). The subscription includes all current and future expansions, single-player console commands, bonus XP, free key drops, and exclusive server access.
My only reservation about Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is the subscription model. While the option to buy expansions separately is a positive, some players may prefer a one-time purchase. The nature of server access will also be crucial, considering the importance of multiplayer in the Ark: Survival Evolved experience.
Nevertheless, as this is essentially the original Ark experience enhanced, many of our existing guides remain relevant. Check out our beginner's guide to Ark: Survival Evolved for those just starting their prehistoric survival adventure!
