Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as Mecha Weka unveils the monumental 'Trans Edition' update for Battlecruisers 6.4. This update is packed with exciting new content for both single-player and multiplayer enthusiasts, enhancing the game's already rich universe.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique capabilities to the battlefield. Additionally, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, along with two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, expanding strategic options for players.

Existing cruisers are not left behind, as they receive new customization options through three fresh bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing for more personalized gameplay experiences.

In Skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to the combat scenarios. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, making for a more immersive experience.

The update also brings significant balancing changes. Ships like the Raptor see their shield build and recharge rate increase from 3x to 5x, while the Hammerhead's health boosts from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret's damage increases from 40 to 60, though its range decreases from 19 to 16, ensuring a more balanced gameplay.

Visually, Battlecruisers 6.4 introduces underwater transparency, allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea's shading and the enhanced visuals of cruiser and ship destructions add to the game's aesthetic appeal.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' continues this tradition, introducing more SideQuests and a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, adding layers of intrigue and adventure.

Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's world is inhabited solely by robots engaged in construction and warfare. Players command their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to navigate the perilous landscape and confront formidable enemies.
