Conquer Kupolovrax in Project Tower: A Comprehensive Guide
Kupolovrax, a formidable boss in Project Tower, presents a significant challenge due to its projectile-heavy attacks. This guide outlines effective strategies to overcome this enemy and emerge victorious. While targeting its illuminated segments seems intuitive, damage is also inflicted by shots landing on its carapace.
Phase 1
In the initial phase, Kupolovrax remains grounded. Maintain a safe distance, consistently firing your weapons, and employ these evasion techniques:
- Orb Ring Fall: As orb rings descend from the platform's edge, look up and execute a dodge roll just before impact.
- Orb Scattershot Fall: This scattershot attack is easier to evade. Strafe to avoid the projectiles while keeping an eye on their trajectory. A dodge roll provides additional safety.
- Orb Line Push: This is the most challenging Phase 1 attack. Option 1: Strafing through gaps. Option 2 (recommended): Wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward.
- Stomp: Jump over the shockwave generated by Kupolovrax's stomp. You can continue firing during this maneuver.
Phase 2
Kupolovrax takes flight at approximately 66% health. Continue maintaining distance and firing while using these strategies:
- Orb Scattershot Fall: The slow descent of these orbs allows for easy evasion by strafing and monitoring their fall.
- Orb Ring Push: Hold your position until the rings are about to hit, then dodge roll left or right.
- Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1, wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll left or right, then dash in the opposite direction.
Phase 3
Phase 3 begins around 33% health and resembles Phase 2, but with a modified attack:
- Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of converging rings, followed by two quick ring pushes, and finally, falling orb rings. Dodge roll left just before the initial rings, immediately dash right to avoid the quick pushes, and walk forward to clear the falling rings.
