  • Take on 10 new levels within a 30-minute time limit
  • Earn rewards while solving themed puzzles for the holiday

Mobile gaming is such a diverse and vibrant platform that it can often be hard to keep track of every release. However, major updates frequently bring games roaring back into the spotlight, which is exactly what has happened with Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles thanks to its new Valentine's Day event.

If released today, one might argue that Brain Test follows a somewhat tired formula. Yet, since its initial launch in 2019, it was arguably ahead of the curve with its microgame-style puzzles. While nothing is quite as brain-bustingly difficult as sudoku, there is certainly still plenty of challenge to be found.

The Valentine's Day event challenges players to complete 10 levels within a 30-minute window. Available until February 24th, finishing these themed puzzles will earn you various rewards alongside some charming romantic challenges.

Put yourself to the test

As for Brain Test itself? It is easy to see why it has slipped under our radar thus far. While it certainly looks quite fun, casual and straightforward puzzlers tend to get overshadowed easily in today's market. Combined with constant pressure from newer and flashier releases in other genres, this former mainstay of mobile gaming has somewhat lain in the dust.

However, I still believe there is plenty of fun to be had here. After all, the microgame genre has remained strong over the years (as aptly demonstrated by Dumb Ways to Die), so I can't imagine any of you would refuse more content like this.

But Brain Test isn't the only puzzler out there. Want to challenge yourself further? Try exploring our list of the best puzzle games on iOS to see what else we have to offer, including all the top brain-teasers sure to challenge even seasoned veterans.
