Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting February Community Day on February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event is set to spotlight two intriguing Pokémon: Karrablast and Shelmet. These Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, giving you ample opportunities to catch them, including their elusive Shiny versions.
Who Are the New Pokémon in the Pokémon Go February Community Day?
Karrablast and Shelmet are the stars of this event. Evolving Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will grant you an Escavalier that knows the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This move delivers 35 power in Trainer Battles and a whopping 55 power in Gyms and Raids. On the other hand, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will yield an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, boasting a solid 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms and Raids.
The event also features a Special Research that offers encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, both sporting special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds. You'll also receive a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL as part of this research. Additionally, a Timed Research event will run for a week following the main event. By logging in during Community Day, you'll unlock tasks that reward encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, complete with the special backgrounds.
