China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is nearing its full release after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game cleverly blends elements from popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's release in China is confirmed for 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer showcased Ananta as an open-world urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a location ripe with mystery and exploration.

This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its global appeal stems from its familiar environments infused with a compelling supernatural element.

Key features highlighted for Ananta include four-player team-based combat, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
