Firaxis Games Unveils Civ 7 Post-Launch Roadmap
Firaxis Games has revealed its post-launch roadmap for Civilization VII (Civ 7), detailing upcoming content planned for release after the game's February 11th launch. The roadmap outlines a mix of paid and free updates.
Paid DLC: New Leaders
The initial wave of paid downloadable content (DLC) will feature Ada Lovelace and Simon Bolivar as playable leaders. These are slated for release in March, alongside other content.
Free Updates: March Content and Beyond
March's free updates will include significant additions to the game. Specific details are limited, but the imagery suggests the inclusion of the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest as new game elements.
Further free updates are planned, though release dates are not yet specified. These updates will include:
- Additional Leaders (2)
- New Civilizations (4)
- Four new World Wonders
- New Events and Challenges
Beyond the initial post-launch updates, Firaxis has also committed to future content releases in October 2025 and beyond.
