"Coromon: Rogue Planet" Set for 2025 Release on iOS, Android, Switch, Steam

by Owen May 13,2025

Following the success of the monster collecting game *Coromon* on PC and Switch, developer TRAGsoft is set to expand its universe with a thrilling roguelite spin-off, *Coromon: Rogue Planet*. Scheduled for release next year, this new addition will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, promising an exciting blend of turn-based combat and roguelite gameplay for an endlessly replayable experience. According to the Steam page, players can expect to explore "10 ever-changing biomes", select from 7 different playable characters, and encounter over 130 unique monsters. Dive into the action with the official announcement trailer for *Coromon: Rogue Planet*:

The original *Coromon* is available as a free-to-play game on mobile devices. It will be fascinating to see how *Coromon: Rogue Planet* performs on mobile platforms upon its release, and whether it will launch simultaneously with the Switch and Steam versions. Currently, you can add *Coromon: Rogue Planet* to your wishlist on Steam. Although it's been a while since I last played *Coromon*, the gameplay in *Coromon: Rogue Planet* seems more engaging and promises to be an ideal pick-up-and-play game, as suggested by the Steam screenshots. While we await the release of this exciting spin-off, you can download the original *Coromon* for free on iOS.
