Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure offers a unique mobile experience. Originally released on PC in 2015, and previously on iOS and Android, this version boasts expanded content.
What awaits in the Crypt?
Players step into the shoes of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter, venturing into a rhythmically-challenging crypt to find her missing parent. This roguelike features 15 playable characters, each with distinct styles, and an original soundtrack by Danny Baranowsky. Gameplay demands precise timing; miss a beat, and you're defeated. Expect a cast of dancing enemies, from skeletons to hip-hop dragons!
More Than Just a Port
This mobile release isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have added remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Further expanding the experience, Hatsune Miku DLC and the Synchrony expansion are slated for release later this year.
Available now on the Google Play Store for Crunchyroll subscribers. This unique blend of rhythm and roguelike gameplay is a must-try! Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
