Cthulu Keeper Announced for PC

by Evelyn Feb 25,2025

Finnish game studio Kuuasema unveils Cthulhu Keeper, a darkly humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft and the iconic Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, the game promises a unique blend of classic dungeon-building and Lovecraftian horror.

Players will cultivate their own cult, sowing fear and chaos throughout the 1920s setting. Building a lair, researching forbidden arts, and summoning Lovecraftian monsters are key elements of gameplay. Expansion involves recruiting cultists, engaging in street-level recruitment, and achieving various objectives. However, rival cults and the authorities pose significant threats, necessitating the strategic use of traps and spells to defend the lair.

"We've poured our hearts and dark souls into crafting a distinctive and challenging experience that merges classic dungeon management with the unsettling ambiance of Lovecraft's tales," commented Kuuasema's chief gaming officer, Kimmo Kari. Add it to your Steam wishlist to stay updated.
