Cyberpunk Replaced Slips to 2023

Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, developed by Sad Cat Studios, has faced multiple postponements, landing now on a projected 2026 launch date.

This latest delay follows a previous announcement pushing the release to 2025, attributed by Sad Cat to the game's "unique challenges." The game's development has been a protracted journey, with prior delays in 2023 and 2024. Despite the setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-tier product, acknowledging the significant player anticipation and the buzz generated since its initial unveiling.

First showcased at Microsoft's E3 2021 presentation, Replaced has been a subject of considerable interest since its 2021 announcement. While Sad Cat has yet to officially address the 2026 release date, they've maintained communication with fans, offering glimpses of gameplay, including combat footage and a mini-game demonstration this past summer.
