It's a fresh week in Clash Royale, and a thrilling new event is here to spice things up: the Dart Goblin Evolution Draft event. Kicking off on January 6th, this event is set to run for an entire week, giving players ample time to dive in and enjoy.
Supercell has recently unveiled the Evo version of the Dart Goblin, and unsurprisingly, it's the star of this event. In this comprehensive guide, we'll delve into all the crucial details about the Dart Goblin Evolution Draft event, ensuring you're fully equipped to make the most of it.
How Does Dart Goblin Evolution Draft Work in Clash Royale
The evolution of the Dart Goblin has arrived, and following the footsteps of the Giant Snowball evolution, Supercell is offering Clash Royale players the chance to experiment with this powerful evo card during a draft event. Dart Goblin has always been a challenging card to counter, but its evolved version elevates its prowess to new heights.
The Evo Dart Goblin retains the same stats as its regular counterpart, including Hitpoints, Damage, Hit Speed, and Range. However, its game-changing feature is the poison ability. With each dart it throws, the Evo Dart Goblin spreads poison in the target area, making it highly effective against both swarms and robust tanks like the Giant. For instance, it can effortlessly tackle a Giant and Witch push, providing players with remarkable positive elixir trades.
While the Evo Dart Goblin is undeniably powerful, simply selecting it won't guarantee victory. Here are some strategic tips to help you dominate the Dart Goblin Evolution Draft event.
How to Win Clash Royale’s Dart Goblin Evo Draft Event
The Dart Goblin Evo Draft event allows players to experience the evolved Dart Goblin, even if they haven't unlocked it yet. Similar to other draft events, you won't be using your personal deck. Instead, you'll construct a new one for each match. The game presents you with two cards to choose from, and you must select one for your deck. The card you don't choose goes to your opponent. This selection process repeats four times for both players, requiring you to think strategically about which cards will best complement your deck and potentially hinder your opponent.
The cards you might encounter range from aerial units like Phoenix and Inferno Dragon to heavy hitters like Ram Rider, Prince, and P.E.K.K.A. Crafting an effective deck can be challenging, but securing your main card early on can be advantageous. Focus on choosing supportive cards that will enhance your strategy.
One player will receive the Evo Dart Goblin, while the other might get cards like Evo Firecracker or Evo Bats. It's crucial to select a robust spell card for this event. Spells such as Arrows, Poison, or Fireball can effectively eliminate the Dart Goblin and other air units like minions and Skeleton Dragons, all while inflicting significant damage on enemy towers.
