Valve keeps the excitement alive with their ongoing updates for *Deadlock*. The latest update, though smaller in scope, brought significant changes to four heroes, shaking up the game's dynamics once again.
Calico faced a substantial nerf with her Return to Shadows ability. The cooldown has been increased by ten seconds, and 20% of her speed was shifted to T2. Additionally, the damage from T2 Leaping Slash took a hit, making her less formidable on the battlefield.
Sinclair's update was more of a glow-up with new sounds and animations. His Rabbit Hex ability has now been transformed into an Area of Effect (AoE) skill, which could alter team strategies significantly. Meanwhile, both Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, impacting their effectiveness in combat.
The update wasn't just about heroes; items felt the ripple effect too. Ammo Scavenger now provides fewer stacks and no longer offers a health bonus. Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot also saw their bonuses to Fire Rate and Weapon Damage removed, respectively.

This marks the fifth update for *Deadlock* in 2025 and the first in February. Valve has adopted a flexible approach to game development, moving away from a fixed patch schedule. Updates are now released based on need, and today's release is a testament to that new strategy.
