First announced in 2018, the series, an eight-episode first season, boasts a stellar team. Castlevania's Adi Shankar serves as producer, while Studio Mir (renowned for The Legend of Korra and X-Men '97) handles animation.
Plot details remain shrouded in secrecy, but indications suggest the series will focus on Dante, drawing inspiration from the first three Devil May Cry games rather than Devil May Cry 5. Interestingly, Johnny Yong Bosch, the voice of Nero in the games, will lend his voice to Dante.
The latest entry in the Devil May Cry franchise, Devil May Cry 5 (2019), marked a triumphant return to form after a period of relative inactivity following the 2013 release of DmC: Devil May Cry. A critically acclaimed action title, it's highly recommended, especially for fans of games like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our comprehensive Devil May Cry 5 review here.
