During the DIGIMON CON 2025 livestream on March 20, Bandai Namco thrilled fans with the announcement of their latest project, Digimon Alysion. This new mobile TCG aims to capitalize on the success of other mobile card games like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap, bringing the Digimon universe to mobile devices. Digimon Alysion promises a free-to-play experience where players can collect cards featuring various Digimon and characters, build their decks, and engage in battles with other players. What sets Digimon Alysion apart is its inclusion of an in-depth story mode, offering players more than just competitive play.
The newly released trailer for Digimon Alysion introduced an all-female cast that will play a central role in the speculated story mode. New characters such as Kanata Hondo, Futre, and Valner Dragnogh were unveiled, along with a new Digimon called Gemmon. While no specific release date was announced, Bandai Namco mentioned an upcoming closed beta test, with more details to follow.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger Reveals More Details
In addition to Digimon Alysion, DIGIMON CON 2025 provided more insight into Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The trailer showcased some of these Digimon, including Angewomon, Gallantmon, and the beloved Agumon. Hara also introduced the game's protagonists, Dan Yuki and Kanan Yuki, who are secret agents for the organization ADAMAS, tasked with uncovering threats to humans and Digimon.
