Mussels are found on the ground throughout Mythopia, specifically within these areas:
- The Elysian Fields
- The Fiery Plains
- The Statue's Shadow
- Mount Olympus
While some players report readily finding Mussels in these locations, others find them scarce and inconsistently spawning. One potential Mussel hotspot is near Trial areas, such as the one adjacent to the first Trial in the Elysian Fields (Hades' unlock area).
A cluster of Mussels may also appear behind the secret bush area in the Elysian Fields during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest. Unlocking this area might increase Mussel spawns across Mythopia.
