Drecom teases new release with Hungry Meem

by Hunter Mar 19,2025

Developer Drecom, known for Wizardry Variants: Daphne, has dropped a cryptic teaser for their next game, Hungry Meem. While details are scarce, a teaser website featuring strange creatures around a tree stump hints at the game's mysterious nature. A full reveal is planned for later this month, possibly on January 15th.

Drecom's previous successes, including Wizardry Variants: Daphne and the long-running One Piece: Treasure Cruise, suggest a potential mobile release for Hungry Meem. However, the teaser's ambiguity leaves much to the imagination. The promotional tactic of encouraging button presses on the teaser website points towards a mobile platform.

Speculation on gameplay ranges from creature collection to an augmented reality "gotta catch 'em all" style game. Until the official announcement, the exact nature of Hungry Meem remains a delightful mystery. Drecom's history of experimentation suggests the final product could be surprisingly innovative.
