"Dustbunny: Therapeutic Plant Sim Now Available"

Dustbunny: Emotion to Plants is a charming new Android game that tackles a serious issue often kept private. The game introduces you to your guide, Empathy, a gentle rabbit who navigates you through your mental landscape. Developed by Antientropic, this therapeutic simulation blends cozy room decorating with a profound emotional journey, inspired by the creative director's experiences during the Covid lockdown.

What Are the Features of Dustbunny: Emotion to Plants?

Your journey begins in a serene, abandoned room where Empathy assists you in unlocking parts of your psyche by catching elusive creatures known as 'emotibuns.' These tiny, skittish beings symbolize your hidden emotions. The magic unfolds as you nurture each captured emotibun, transforming them into stunning plants that illuminate your room and, symbolically, your inner world. Over time, your sanctuary will flourish with unique plants such as monsteras, philodendrons, alocasia, and rare unicorn hybrids, reflecting your personal growth and journey.

Dustbunny: Emotion to Plants offers a variety of minigames and activities to enhance your connection with your room and its plants. Engage in activities like flying Paper Planes, concocting different flavors of Cup Ramyun, and playing on a retro Gameboi. These activities not only provide energy and collectibles but also help you care for and grow your plants. With over 20 different Care Cards, you can perform actions such as watering, misting, and observing, equipped with a range of tools to aid you.

It’s a Personal Adventure but with a Social Twist

The game features a 'Doors' system, allowing you to personalize your door with symbols and stickers that tell your unique story. You can visit other players' doors, leave messages, and share in their growth, adding a social dimension to your personal journey. Empathy's interactions and activities are rooted in compassion-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques, encouraging self-care, self-acceptance, and self-love.

You'll discover stickers and designs that help you express your thoughts in a fun and soothing manner. Dustbunny: Emotion to Plants is available for download on the Google Play Store.
