The Electric State: Kid Cosmo lets you play a game within a game to prep for the upcoming Netflix film

by Peyton Mar 21,2025

Netflix is expanding its mobile gaming lineup with The Electric State: Kid Cosmo, a new adventure game connected to the upcoming Netflix film. This “game within a game” features charming 80s-inspired visuals and puzzle-solving gameplay interwoven with a narrative that complements the movie.

Following Chris and Michelle's story over five years, Kid Cosmo serves as a prequel. Players will collect modules, repair Kid Cosmo's ship, and unravel the mystery behind the titular "Electric State." Intriguing questions abound: Is it the end of the world? What's the deal with the giant robots? And… Chris Pratt's mustache? Launching March 18th, just four days after the film's release, the game promises to provide answers.
