RuneScape's newest challenge, the Gate of Elidinis, has arrived! This challenging story quest introduces a new skilling boss, demanding players embark on a quest to restore the corrupted statue of Elidinis, a once-sacred relic.
This adventure continues the fight against Amascut's corruption, building upon the narrative established in "Ode of the Devourer." Players will encounter familiar themes, yet experience fresh gameplay mechanics in the Gate of Elidinis.
Confronting the Corrupted Gate
The Gate of Elidinis, once a sacred passage for the departed, now suffers from Amascut's malevolent influence. Instead of peaceful transition, it's become a haunting realm of lost souls trapped within her grasp.
Players, solo or in groups of up to nine, must confront the Gate of Elidinis boss. Before engaging in combat, preparation is key. Mining Moonstone and crafting Spiritual Barriers are crucial to counter the corruption. Proficiency in Mining, Crafting, Divination, and Agility skills will prove essential to cleanse the fragmented statue and resist Amascut's power. Watch the official update announcement below!

Rewarding the Valiant
Successfully cleansing the Gate of Elidinis yields significant rewards. Players can acquire new skilling and combat equipment, including the Runecrafting Off-Hand "Runic Attunement" and the Divination Off-Hand "Memory Locus." A new Combat Prayer, a fresh God Book, and an adorable boss pet, Edie, await those who succeed. Further rewards are available through the Gate of Elidinis Hunt event, allowing players to gather shards and complete tasks for cosmetic overrides and temporary buffs, aided by the Priestesses of Elidinis.
