On April 21, Etheria: Restart took to Twitter (X) to announce an exciting global livestream ahead of its final beta test. Set to broadcast on Etheria: Restart's official YouTube and Twitch channels, the event will kick off on April 25, 2025, at 21:00 UTC-5. Etheria: Restart is an upcoming free-to-play hero RPG set in a futuristic, sci-fi world. In this narrative, humanity faces a catastrophic global freeze, forcing them to upload their minds to Etheria while coexisting with beings called the Animus. However, this sanctuary is under threat from the Genesis Virus, which corrupts the Animus and turns them hostile.
As a Hyperlinker in the Hyperlinker Union, players will embark on a mission to combat this viral menace and uncover its origins to protect both the virtual world and the remnants of real humanity.
Developed using Unreal Engine, Etheria: Restart boasts detailed graphics and cinematic scenes. The gameplay combines strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control, offering PvP arenas for competitive real-time battles against other players. Additionally, the game features a gacha system where players can acquire new characters using Hydra Crystals, which can be earned in-game or purchased via real currency.
Final Beta Test Starts May 8, 2025
The final beta test is slated to begin on May 8, 2025, featuring the following highlights:
- Anisync Echoes and Phantom Theater Trial Challenges: Players will experience engaging trial missions designed to test their skills.
- Real-Time PvP (RTA) Battles: Based on the gameplay mechanics of fan favorites like Summoners War and Epic Seven, RTA battles will allow players to compete in fast-paced, strategic duels.
- Cross-play Availability: Whether you're on mobile or PC, you can join forces with players worldwide and engage in real-time arenas. Create the ultimate squad to tackle challenging boss fights and unlock new companions known as "Shells."
