EvoCreo2 Devs Address Multiplayer, Shiny Rates, Cloud Saves FAQs

EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG, the highly anticipated sequel to the original EvoCreo, has finally made its way to Android devices. Developed by ilmfinity—known for their work on other monster adventure titles—the game invites players into the vibrant world of Shoru, where they can catch, train, and battle with over 300 unique Creo creatures.

The game also features a robust storyline. Players begin as a recruit at the Shoru Police Academy, unraveling the mystery behind a series of monster disappearances. Along the journey, you’ll complete more than 50 missions, uncover hidden secrets, and face off against fierce opponents in competitive battles.

Following the game’s release, the development team took to Reddit to address some of the most frequently asked questions from the community—and even teased what's coming next.

Here Are the Answers to the Most Frequently Asked Questions About EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG

  1. Is multiplayer coming?
Yes, but it's not available at launch. The developers are prioritizing bug fixes and balance adjustments before rolling out multiplayer features.

  2. Will there be controller support and cloud saves?
Both features are planned for future updates. Stay tuned for announcements once they’re ready.

  3. What are the shiny encounter rates?
Regular shiny Creos have a 0.2% chance to appear, while rare shinies only show up at a 0.02% rate. For those wondering, starter Creos cannot be shiny.

  4. How does capture success work?
Lowering a Creo’s HP and applying status conditions increases your chances of capturing it. However, rare, high-level, and shiny Creos are naturally harder to catch.

  5. What’s the roadmap for future updates?
In the first few months post-launch, the focus will be on polishing the game. Then, controller support and cloud saves will arrive, followed by new story content and eventually, multiplayer features.
