Farlight 84's "Hi, Buddy!" expansion launches today, introducing exciting new features. The core addition is the Buddy System, featuring adorable and helpful pets that enhance gameplay.
Meet Your Buddies:
The Buddy System introduces two buddy types: Common and Archon. Common Buddies, easily acquired, possess useful abilities. Rarer Archon Buddies boast significantly more powerful skills. Buddies are obtained using Buddy Orbs, found scattered across the map, which can also hold up to six tactical items.
Ten buddies debut in this expansion: Common Buddies include Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy. Archon Buddies are the Time Dominator (capable of manipulating the Safe Zone) and the Storm Empress (who summons damaging tornadoes).

The update also includes:
- Sunder Realms Map Revamp: Features new terrain, structures, and landmarks, including ramps, improved buildings, and unique environmental elements like giant duck statues and floating boulders.
- Tactical Core System: Earn Trait points to upgrade hero skills and unlock new abilities. Trait Activation Cards are required to fully maximize these abilities.
- New Events: The Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event offer valuable rewards, including skins and loot boxes.
