Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

Celebrate the Chinese New Year with the Lunar New Year event in Pokémon GO, running until February 2 at 08:00 PM local time. This year marks the Year of the Snake, so expect to see increased spawn rates of snake-themed Pokémon. Here's the list of Pokémon with boosted encounter rates during the event:

On Sunday, February 9, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, participate in the dual Community Day featuring Karrablast and Shelmet. This event is your chance to gather Karrablast and Shelmet Candies and increase your odds of encountering Shiny versions. Evolve Karrablast or Shelmet before February 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM to get an Escavalier with the Charged Attack Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively. Beloved Buddies: February 11 – 15
