Erabit Studios is preparing the final installment in their acclaimed Methods visual novel series. Methods 5: The Last Stage is now available for pre-registration on Android, promising a thrilling conclusion to chapters 86-100.
For the uninitiated, the Methods series pits brilliant detectives against cunning criminals in a high-stakes competition blending crime-solving, psychological warfare, and dramatic twists. The ultimate goal? Outwit everyone else.
A Recap and the Stakes:
One hundred detectives compete in a bizarre contest, solving crimes orchestrated by the world's most intelligent criminals. The prize for the top detective? A million dollars. A criminal's victory, however, means parole.
Methods 4: The Best Detective saw Detectives Ashdown and Woes conquer Stage Four. Now, in Methods 5: The Last Stage, they face a complex plot to expose the Gamemasters, all while dealing with the interference of a troublesome character known as Catscratcher.
Expect 25+ interactive crime scenes and a gripping narrative spanning over 20 chapters. The game launches February 14th, 2025; pre-register on the Google Play Store.
Bonus DLC: Methods: The Illusion Murders
Included is a bonus story, Methods: The Illusion Murders, offering deeper insight into Detective Red July and her unique approach to impossible crimes. The central mystery involves three victims arranged in a triangle, all shot with a single bullet.
Interestingly, this DLC's origins trace back to a 2020 Twitter interaction, where a fan's casual question about Red July's past sparked the story's creation. Already available on PC, you can get a sneak peek below:
