Fortnite Reintroduces Getaway Mode, Adds Crocs

Epic Games has recently released update 34.10 for Fortnite, introducing an exciting revamp of the "Getaway" mode and the much-anticipated return of the iconic character, Midas. This beloved mode, which originally debuted in Chapter 1, is making its comeback and will be available from March 11 to April 1. During this time, players are tasked with the thrilling challenge of finding one of the three crystal lamps scattered throughout the island, which will enable them to escape using one of the designated getaway vans.

Starting today, players who have the "Outlaw" battle pass can unlock Midas' Gangster outfit by reaching level 10. This update not only brings back one of Fortnite's most iconic characters but also introduces a fresh twist to his look, enhancing the game experience for fans and newcomers alike.

Following the update on March 10, data miners have uncovered intriguing details about upcoming features. Fortnite is set to introduce the iconic Crocs footwear into the game. Players won't have to wait long, as the Crocs will be available in the in-game store starting March 12 at 3 AM Moscow time, coinciding with the scheduled item rotation.

Data miners have also shared glimpses of how the Crocs will appear on characters such as Jinx and Hatsune Miku, along with a promotional art piece showcasing Midas sporting the new footwear. This addition promises to bring a unique and fun element to the Fortnite universe, allowing players to customize their characters with this popular shoe brand.
