In the world of Freedom Wars Remastered, every action you take is aimed at reducing your staggering one million-year sentence, a penalty you received simply for being born. While you're constantly working to shorten your sentence, another key goal is to boost your CODE level, making life as a sinner more manageable.
Your CODE level is crucial because it unlocks Entitlements, which can significantly ease gameplay. For instance, they might allow you to run longer or enhance your comrades and gear, making battles against Abductors much less daunting. As you progress, you'll navigate through multiple CODE levels. Let's delve into how many there are.
How Many CODE Levels Are In Freedom Wars Remastered
In Freedom Wars Remastered, you have a total of eight CODE levels to advance through. Once you elevate your CODE level, there's no going back, so you don't have to worry about inadvertently increasing your sentence beyond what's necessary, particularly when playing in Deadly Sinner Mode. Each time you advance your CODE level, you unlock a broader range of Entitlements to purchase, alongside new operations to tackle.
How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered
To check the requirements for upgrading your CODE level, simply chat with your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions". Typically, you'll need to reach specific milestones in your prison sentence and unlock certain Entitlements. Make sure to review this menu regularly to avoid squandering your Entitlement Points on less beneficial upgrades, as you might need to donate resources later to acquire more.
Donating a single high-end resource or weapon can often provide enough points for numerous Entitlements.
While meeting all the listed conditions is essential to increase your CODE level, your progress is also intertwined with the main storyline. You'll need to complete main story missions and operations to pass the CODE exam, which is part of the narrative. Occasionally, the main story itself may serve as a substitute for the CODE exam needed to reach the next level.
Operations are categorized by CODE levels, which generally indicates their difficulty. Most operations will be completed as you advance through the story of each CODE level. However, after progressing, a few optional operations might become available to help those who aren't fully prepared for the challenges of their new CODE level.
