Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is stomping onto the Battle Royale Island, and you can either become him or take him down. This guide details how to participate in this epic event.
Becoming Godzilla:
Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the island in each match. Be the first player to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!
Find a portal ➡️ become Godzilla!
Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: the Roar (locates nearby players), Mighty Stomp Attack (sends opponents flying), and the powerful Heat Ray. However, be warned – the entire lobby will be gunning for you!
Defeating Godzilla:
If you didn't snag the rift, prepare for an intense battle! Godzilla has weak points; focusing your fire on these will cause Godzilla Fragments to drop, granting you 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key!
The Rail Gun has returned for this event, offering a high-damage output. Higher-rarity weapons are also effective. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla earns the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher – a worthy reward for taking down the King of the Monsters!
