Acquiring the Gold Armor Vest: A Step-by-Step Guide

Locate the Statue Heads: Two statue heads are hidden within the Dark Aether Nexus, concealed inside destructible wooden boxes. Use melee attacks to break the boxes open and collect the heads. One box is near a palm tree in a corner of the Nexus (see image below), and the other is conveniently located close to the Juggernog Perk Machine.

Repair the Roman Statues: Transport the statue heads to the Dig Site area. Place each head on a dilapidated Roman statue. One is near the Ammo Cache, the other near the Roman Mausoleum (Pack-a-Punch area).

Survive the Blood Sacrifices: After placing both heads, interact with the statues to initiate a "Blood Sacrifice." This involves eliminating powerful HVT versions of Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts. The challenge significantly reduces your health to 1 HP, making it crucial to have a Tier 3 vest and ample armor plates beforehand. Enemies from previous rounds will remain, so strategically timing this near round completion is advisable.

Solo Strategy: Utilize a Mutant Injection to transform into a Mangler, rendering you invulnerable. Activate the injection just as the Blood Sacrifice begins, then melee the HVTs.
