Grand Outlaws Soft Launches in US

by Layla May 17,2025

After a much-anticipated delay earlier this year, the open-world mobile shooter Grand Outlaws has finally soft launched in the US. Developed by Hardbit Studio, the game is now available exclusively on Google Play starting today, May 15th. While US Android users can dive in right away, fans around the globe will need to wait a bit longer for their turn.

The additional development time was put to good use, with Hardbit expanding locations, boosting performance, and adding more content. This has resulted in a richer, more stable gaming experience, setting the stage for a smoother full release later this year.

At its soft launch, Grand Outlaws features three core game modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. These modes are designed for fast-paced action with mobile-optimized controls, ensuring quick access to an array of weapons, vehicles, and customization options. Players can seamlessly switch between modes or explore the expansive open world at their leisure.

While currently exclusive to Android, Hardbit has a clear roadmap for a multi-platform release. The full Android and Epic Store launch is slated for July or August, with iOS and PC versions via Steam and Epic following in October. Console enthusiasts can look forward to ports on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch in 2026. Additionally, cross-platform play is in the works, promising a unified gaming experience across devices.

Looking to the future, Hardbit plans to roll out exciting updates including new modes like Heists and Destruction Derby, live events, a cinematic story mode, and enhanced customization options for characters and hideouts. The studio is also exploring brand collaborations and seasonal content drops to keep the game fresh and engaging.
