Grimguard Tactics, the story-driven dark fantasy RPG for Android and iOS, receives its first major content update a month after launch. This update introduces significant new features, including a fresh hero class, powerful trinkets, and a challenging new dungeon.
The highlight is the arrival of the Acolyte, a support-oriented hero class wielding a hand scythe. This character possesses the unique ability to manipulate enemy blood, using it for both crowd control and healing allies – a crucial tactical advantage in difficult battles.
Players can further enhance their heroes, including the Acolyte, with the addition of Trinkets. These equippable items boost hero stats and unlock diverse strategic options, adapting to various combat scenarios. Trinkets are crafted using materials found within the game’s Forge.
A new dungeon, the Severed Path, accompanies this update. This challenging event, themed around the Acolyte's backstory, offers unique rewards upon completion. Players can also expect a range of exclusive items added to the in-game shop.
