To find the Rime Beetle, head to the Iceshard Cliffs region. Remember, it's not as simple as setting a waypoint and letting your Seikret guide you there. You'll need to rely on your observation skills and a bit of luck. The Rime Beetle is known for rolling up balls of packed snow, making them easier to spot in snowy areas. Focus your search in Areas 2, 7, 8, 11, and 13 of the Iceshard Cliffs. As you move through these snow-covered zones, keep an eye out for the beetle's distinctive snowballs or follow any tracks you might see in the snow.

Capturing the Rime Beetle requires the use of your Capture Net, which should already be part of your equipment. To equip it, hold L1/LB and scroll until you find the Capture Net, then press Square/X to select it. Aim with L2/LT, and when the Rime Beetle is within your crosshairs and turns orange, fire away. Successfully capturing it will not only add the Rime Beetle to your collection but also fulfill Samin's request. If you choose to collect it manually, you'll obtain Frost Pods instead, which can be used to inflict ice damage in Monster Hunter Wilds.
