The popular Roblox first-person shooter PvP experience, Rivals, has dropped Update 9, introducing the innovative Gunblade weapon and the Bridge map.
Developer Nosniy Games outlined the additions in today's patch notes, also mentioning minor adjustments while focusing on future developments. This update is smaller than recent ones, but still offers engaging content.
The Gunblade, a hybrid rifle and blade, is a natural fit for Rivals' gameplay, offering both ranged and melee combat options. Its effectiveness is amplified on the new Bridge map, a close-quarters combat arena set in Seoul, created by @GreatGuyBoom. The map's limited space and obstacles ensure intense, fast-paced action.
The developers stated, "We value your feedback and assure you that all necessary improvements will be implemented in time for the Ranked update."

NEW MAP
The new Bridge map is now available! This arena-style duel zone is located in Seoul, South Korea, and was created by @GreatGuyBoom!
NEW SPECIAL CHALLENGES!
The Winter Spotlight challenges have been replaced with a new set of challenges on the Bridge map. Complete these tasks to earn keys and the limited-time Bungeoppang charm!
OTHER
- Minor adjustments to the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins.
- Renamed the Hexxed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle, and Hexxed wrap to Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, and Vexed, respectively.

"We're thrilled to release this new map, celebrating our Korean community! Following the holiday season, our next major update will feature the long-awaited Ranked mode. We intentionally omitted bug fixes and other improvements this time, focusing on the new content. All necessary changes will be included before the Ranked update launch."
