While the game remains in Early Access, the developers have indicated that the core structures of both the Underworld and Surface routes are nearly complete. Their focus now shifts to enriching existing content, suggesting that a full release might be closer than anticipated.
Following the post-launch patches of The Warsong Update, Supergiant Games has outlined several key initiatives:
- Hidden Aspects: The Nocturnal Arms hold undiscovered secrets that players will eventually unlock, adding deeper layers to the gameplay.
- Enhanced Guardians: Boss battles, a cornerstone of the Hades II experience, will be refined to offer more challenging and surprising encounters.
- Expanded Story: Further development of Melinoë’s narrative, along with the expansion of inter-character relationships and subplots, is already in the planning stages.
