Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Overhaul Arrives December 3rd
Get ready for a cosmic upgrade! Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9 launches December 3rd, bringing a galaxy of changes to the Tavern. Prepare for a revamped minion lineup, flashy new tech, and a farewell to Trinkets.
New Features:
- Battlegrounds Tokens: These new tokens let you reroll a hero option at the selection screen. Perfect for escaping those less-than-ideal hero choices!
Minion Reveal Schedule:
- November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
- November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
- November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
- November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
- November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
- December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes release.
More New Additions:
- Three New Heroes: Including the already popular Farseer Nobundo, boasting his Galaxy’s Lens.
- Minion Pool Overhaul: Approximately 90 minions and Tavern spells are being added or removed.
- Solo Battlegrounds Damage Cap Adjustment: A new damage cap will be implemented in solo games, starting at 5 damage early game, gradually increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. This cap is removed once you reach the top 4.
Minion Release Schedule:
- December 3rd: Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs enter the pool.
- December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the fray.
- December 9th: Undead and Elementals complete the lineup.
