Hearthstone is embarking on a time-bending journey with its latest expansion, Across the Timeways, launching on November 4th. At the heart of this tale is Chromie of the Bronze Dragonflight, who uncovers that time itself is unraveling.
What’s Chromie’s story?
From her station at the Temporal Conflux, she discovers that Murozond is disrupting the flow of time. As the corrupted Lord of the Infinite, he’s dragging every timeline toward an inevitable, desolate end.
To prevent this catastrophe, Chromie journeys across ages and dimensions, uniting 11 legendary heroes from across Warcraft’s many eras to stand beside her.
Across the Timeways introduces two powerful new mechanics. The first, Fabled, lets you summon iconic heroes from Warcraft’s past, future, and alternate realities.
Each class gains its own Fabled hero—like Sylvanas or Gelbin—along with bonus cards that automatically join your deck.
The second mechanic, Rewind, brings true time manipulation to the game. It lets you replay cards with randomized effects, giving you a second chance to alter your destiny.
New cards like Timeway Warden can trap a minion for a staggering 10,000 turns. Meanwhile, Divergence splits a single minion into two alternate versions.
Across the Timeways marks the return of Timelord Nozdormu to Hearthstone! -------------------------------------------------------------------------Timelord Nozdormu’s presence is deeply tied to the Timeways—the magical pathways connecting every version of reality in the Warcraft universe. As guardians of these pathways, the Bronze Dragonflight, led by Nozdormu and his cheerful gnome form Chromie, work to preserve the timeline.
But their greatest enemy emerges from within: Nozdormu’s future self is none other than Murozond. Consumed by fear of death, he becomes the very villain he once sought to stop, birthing the Infinite Dragonflight and twisting reality into the barren End Time.
