What’s Happening in This Expansion?
The Into the Emerald Dream expansion introduces a new keyword, Imbue, specifically designed for Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans. These classes can harness the blessings of the World Tree. When you play an Imbue card for the first time, your Hero Power transforms into a more potent version tailored to your class. Each subsequent Imbue card you play further enhances your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters receive the Blessing of the Wolf, a powerful boost, while other classes watch enviously as Imbue has no effect on them.
On the darker side, the Old Gods offer a different path with the new keyword, Dark Gifts. This corruption-filled mechanic tempts Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors with raw power. These twisted enhancements synergize with Discover options, allowing players to create nightmare-fueled minions that can wreak havoc across the battlefield. The Emerald Dream expansion includes 10 different Dark Gifts to explore.
