How To Play Hyper Light Breaker With Friends
To enjoy Hyper Light Breaker in co-op mode with your friends, you'll need to create a Private multiplayer room. Once you spawn into the Cursed Outpost, the central hub of Hyper Light Breaker, locate the counter to the left of Pherus Bit, your commander, who is positioned just across from the Outpost's entrance.
Interact with the counter by pressing the designated button (usually R1 or RB) to access the Multiplayer menu. Here, you can either create your own Breaker Team, join an existing one, or manage your Invitations. To play with friends, select "Create Breaker Team".
In the subsequent menu, enable "Password Required" and set a unique password. After setting up your private Breaker Team, you can invite up to two friends via your platform's social service, which supports PSN, Xbox, and Steam. The game accommodates groups of up to three players.
If your friends are already in the game, they'll receive your invitation in their "Invitations" tab. Otherwise, they can join through the invitation link you sent. Your team might also appear in the general list of Breaker Teams, allowing friends to join directly if other methods fail.

In the Cursed Outpost, navigate to the multiplayer menu and select "Join Breaker Team". Scroll to the bottom and choose "Join Random Public Breaker Team". The game will search for available, non-password-protected Breaker Teams and place you in one if possible. After a brief load screen, you'll find yourself in the world of the team's creator.
To leave a multiplayer session, return to the counter in the Cursed Outpost, access the multiplayer menu, and select the option to disconnect from your current session. Alternatively, you can simply exit the game to end the session.
