Infinix has unveiled their latest gaming smartphone - the GT 30 Pro - targeting gamers who demand strong performance without breaking the bank. This new device packs some impressive specs for its price range.
Under the Hood
Powering the GT 30 Pro is MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset - a capable processor that handles games smoothly. The device features a vibrant 6.78-inch AMOLED display with buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, protected by tough Gorilla Glass 7i. At peak brightness it reaches an impressive 1,600 nits, making it readable even in direct sunlight.
Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the dedicated shoulder triggers - these aren't just gimmicks but actual low-latency capacitive buttons that can be remapped for different games. The phone offers generous memory options with up to 12GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and spacious 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
Power & Cooling
The GT 30 Pro comes with a sizable 5,500mAh battery (5,200mAh in some markets) supporting both 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. Smart bypass charging helps minimize heat buildup during marathon gaming sessions - a thoughtful feature for serious gamers.
Camera & Design
Photography capabilities include a 108MP main shooter and 8MP ultrawide lens on the back, plus a 13MP selfie camera hidden beneath the display. The phone's bold Cyber Mecha Design 2.0 makes a statement with angular lines and customizable RGB lighting, available in Blade White, Shadow Ash or Dark Flare color options.
Running on XOS 15 based on Android 15, the GT 30 Pro incorporates AI tools powered by DeepSeek R1 and carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. Infinix has also introduced an optional MagCharge Cooler accessory that magnetically attaches to enhance cooling by about 30%.
Pricing & Availability
The GT 30 Pro is expected to launch at $489 for the 12GB+256GB model, with the 512GB variant priced around $529. While hands-on performance reviews are still pending, it presents an intriguing option in the mid-range gaming phone segment.
