Apex Legends ALGS Year 4 Championships Head to Sapporo, Japan!
Get ready Apex Legends fans! The ALGS Year 4 Championships are coming to Sapporo, Japan! This marks a significant milestone for the Apex Legends Global Series, as it will be the first offline tournament held in Asia.
The competition will take place at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025, featuring 40 elite teams vying for the championship title. Previously, ALGS offline events have been held in the US, UK, Sweden, and Germany.
EA highlighted the strong Japanese Apex Legends community and the considerable fan demand for an Asian-based event as key factors in choosing Sapporo. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, expressed excitement about this milestone event at the iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome.
Further details regarding the tournament and ticket sales will be revealed at a later date. Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto extended a warm welcome to all participants and fans, expressing the city's enthusiastic support for the event.
