KOF:AFK Debuts in Canada, Thailand with Early Access

by Andrew Dec 14,2024

The King of Fighters AFK is now available in early access! Thai and Canadian players can download it today from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Early access players are guaranteed to recruit Mature from the Orochi Clan.

While the fate of King of Fighters Allstar remains uncertain, this new mobile title offers a retro RPG twist on the classic fighting franchise. Netmarble has confirmed that player progress will carry over to the full release.

King of Fighters AFK features a roster of beloved characters in 5v5 battles. Build your team and strategize your formations for nostalgic, turn-based combat.

A Different Kind of Fighter

KoF AFK faces a challenge in winning back fans. Unlike the crossover-heavy King of Fighters Allstar, this game takes a more distinct RPG approach.

The Neo-Geo Pocket-inspired sprites and the guaranteed Mature recruitment might appeal to some, but others may remain hesitant. Hopefully, KoF AFK will deliver enjoyable, casual gameplay to ease concerns.
