Mario Kart World: $80 Solo, $50 with Nintendo Switch 2 Bundle

by Owen Apr 24,2025

At today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo officially unveiled the much-awaited Nintendo Switch 2, set to launch on June 5, 2025. The new console will be available at a retail price of $449.99. For fans eager to dive into gaming right away, a special bundle including Mario Kart World will be offered at $499.99.

For those who prefer to buy Mario Kart World separately, the game will be available at a recommended retail price of $79.99. This pricing reflects the high value Nintendo places on its flagship racing title.

Interestingly, while the original Nintendo Switch saw only one game priced at $70, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the newly announced Donkey Kong Bananza will also retail at $70, signaling a shift in Nintendo's pricing strategy for premium titles.
