In response to player concerns, NetEase Games announced a change of plans: "Following the release of Dev Talk 10 regarding the seasonal rank adjustment, we received considerable community feedback. A primary concern was the pressure of a mid-season reset, impacting the enjoyment of competitive play. We've decided to adjust the rank system."
The developers confirmed that there will be no rank reset at the halfway point of Season 1. Players will retain their existing ranks and scores. To earn new rewards, players simply need to complete 10 competitive matches and meet specific conditions by the season's end. These rewards include a new Gold rank costume and various Crests of Honor with unique designs.
This decision is positive news for high-ranking players, giving them more time to compete at the top level. It also showcases NetEase's responsiveness to player feedback, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement.
