Marvel Rivals Reveals Invisible Woman Gameplay

Summary

  • The Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman is joining Marvel Rivals along with new maps, a fresh game mode, and more on January 10.
  • A new video shows off the Strategist in battle.
  • Dracula will be the main antagonist of Season 1.

NetEase Games has revealed a first look at gameplay for The Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals. In addition to members of the hero group joining the ever-expanding roster of Marvel Rivals, fans can expect to see new maps, a new game mode, and a fresh battle pass with the next update. Players eager to get their hands on all of the new content won't have to wait much longer, as Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls launches on January 10 at 1 AM PST.

While Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman will make their debut when Season 1 releases, players will need to wait a little longer for the arrival of Human Torch and The Thing. In a recent developer video, NetEase Games revealed that full seasons are designed to last for approximately three months and will receive a big mid-season update six or seven weeks after launch. This is when players can expect to see Human Torch and The Thing come to Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals has released a first look at gameplay for the hero shooter's newest Strategist, Invisible Woman. In the video, her primary attack appears to harm enemies while healing allies. For enemies who get too close, she seems to have a knockback ability, allowing her to maintain her distance. As expected, she has the ability to turn invisible for a short duration of time. The trailer also shows her using a double jump, adding to her mobility. The formidable hero even has the ability to place a shield in front of allies. Marvel Rivals' Invisible Woman also has an ultimate ability that allows her to create a zone of invisibility, obscuring the battlefield from enemies attacking at a distance.

Marvel Rivals Shows off Invisible Woman Gameplay Trailer

In another recent trailer, NetEase Games revealed gameplay of Mister Fantastic in Marvel Rivals. The video showed the Duelist stretching to hit enemies and puffing himself up to increase his durability. Many fans believe he resembles something of a Vanguard and Duelist hybrid, as he has more health than the average DPS character.

While many players are excited about the addition of The Fantastic Four to the game's roster, others were expecting to see Blade arrive in Marvel Rivals with Season 1. Leakers have found a fair amount of information concerning the character in the game's files, including details about his ability kit along with his full character model. When it was announced that Dracula would be the main antagonist of Season 1, many gamers were even more certain they would see the vampire hunter make his debut. Unfortunately, it seems like players will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the iconic hero. Despite a few minor disappointments, many fans are excited to see what NetEase Games does next.
